"New Leadership... Committed to Serve"
Public service has been Cassandra Littlejohn's calling since growing up in Georgia as a young teenager. She was fortunate to have a compassionate father who demonstrated his love for others by giving to the less fortunate and clothing the homeless. The spirit of giving and the desire to make a positive impact in her community is the driving force behind Cassandra's decision to run for your next Bexar County Clerk.
Long before moving to San Antonio in the middle of the Great Recession, becoming a public servant was in her heart. Once Cassandra migrated here, like many other immigrants and local citizens, Cassandra grew to love this city and Bexar County that she now calls home.
In 2004, Cassandra took on the task of championing the causes of the youth in DeKalb County, GA, a suburb just outside of Atlanta, GA, where she was elected to serve on the DeKalb County Board of Education. During her four years on the Board, two of which she served as Chairman of the Board, Cassandra was able to accumulate a long list of accomplishments including contributing to ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the school system.
Once cited as a “transformational leader”, Cassandra has literally built her entire career on that definition. A highly motivated, passionate, and goal-driven leader, she approaches each new challenge with the intrinsic flair for innovation, creative problem-solving, and enthusiasm for helping others to drive consistent results.
